"God Is Great in 2008"

Evidently, I missed a great intercession set...one of our teams started a ("amazing" or "corny" depending on your viewpoint) chorus near the end of the set, declaring that, "God is great in 2008"!

While you are entitled to your own opinion of this chorus, it rings true with my sense of what God wants to do in our city and county this coming year. While God always has, and always will be great, there are times when His greatness is demonstrated in unmistakeable ways in a given time and place. May God be great in 2008 here in Reading and may many "ascribe to Him the glory due His name" (Ps. 29).

We (RHOP) are coming off leadership transitions, a new website, and some new strategies, and are looking forward to huge steps forward this coming year.

One of the things I am very excited about is traveling around the county to churches and praying with them "on-site". We are booked thru November already and you can check the schedule to see where we will be.
